Upon deciding over the weekend to upgrade Xander's bed and give Cynthia his existing one, I have decided to temporarily sleep on Cynthia's floor for the past few nights. When she wakes, I give her a "SSSSHHHHHHHH" and she's back asleep quite quickly. At least she is learning to stay in her room and she has been sleeping in till 5.30am. The theory is that I will slowly move the mattress out of the room towards the door each night after she get's her new bed this weekend/re-arranged room. I'm shaking my head as I'm writing this as I'm truly uncertain that it will work and am hoping that good old fashioned praise of my daughter in her new big girl bed will suffice.
